Mobile app (personal project)

Context

I saw a challenge in society and was curious to understand it better. Like with ParkWise, I ran a similar discovery process before building anything: market research and initial user interviews to work out whether it was worth solving, and whether it could have a positive impact on society.

My role

Business developer (solo): ran the market analysis, initial user interviews and problem scope clarification myself - the same discovery approach I later used for ParkWise.

The challenge

Time and runway is often against one when starting a new project alone. Validating the problem fast enough to know if it was worth pursuing was the real test.

Outcome

A validated problem and a clearly narrowed scope for an MVP - the same validate-before-you-build approach I later used for ParkWise.

Status with the project

Design for MVP is in place. If the project is to arise again, the next step would be to develop the MVP version of the app.
